There’s 2 sides to every story, including Lyn & Chad’s love story. Here’s a quick synopsis… They were introduced by a mutual friend after Chad moved to Virginia for work from Louisiana in 2008. After an awkward first date, they kept in contact, talking more and more. Lyn eventually moved to back to New York. Chad “helped her load up her car with a few boxes and told her he’d marry her if she stayed. She laughed it off.” They stayed in touch and found themselves back with each other. Chad frequently traveled to New York to visit Lyn.
Chad and Lyn dated for a while and decided to move in together. Chad suggested looking at apartments in Atlanta, where some of Lyn’s family lived. While viewing an apartment building they went up to the rooftop to see the views. Once they turned the corner Lyn lost her breath in excitement. Both of their families were standing there waiting for them. Lyn turned, embraced Chad and did not let go. In fact, her family had to talk her out of the embrace. When she finally let go Chad dropped to one knee and officially proposed.
Fast forward to the present… Lyn and Chad planned a New Orleans French Quarter Destination Wedding from Atlanta. They both prepared for the day at the beautiful Omni Royal Orleans Hotel. Lyn surprised Chad with a bologna sandwich and her boudoir session album; for Chad’s eyes only… (By the way, Chad always ate a bologna sandwich before one of his big football games to get in the zone.) A short walk away, Pat O’s on the River hosted their ceremony with amazing views of the Mississippi River. Following the nuptials, a quick stroll and photo session in Woldenberg Park, they were greeted by their family and friends at The Jaxson. Fantastic food, good vibes, and some East Coast flavor music set the mood for a spectacular reception.
The reception finally came to an end, but not the celebration. Chad and Lyn led their guests, along with the sounds of the New Breed Brass Band, through the streets of New Olreans. Onlookers joined in the second line and gave them well wishes. The wedding parade ended near Bourbon street, where the new Mr. & Mrs. Nevills partied the night away at Saints & Sinners. This was the perfect day for their New Orleans French Quarter Destination Wedding.
Huge congrats to you both on an amazing journey. We wish y’all a lifetime of happiness and for the friendships gained… #RoadToNevills #HappilyEverNevills
