Giselle and Jerald met on Facebook, but the official introduction wasn’t made until they attended Texas College. Giselle surprisingly kept seeing Jerald in several locations one day on campus. She decided to introduce herself after those several curious encounters. Giselle found out Jerald had been stalking her (in a good way); which he admitted years later. After dating for 8 years, Jerald popped the question on Christmas Day with a gift, within a gift, within a gift. She finally got to the smallest box and he dropped to one knee and asked for her hand in marriage.
With Jerald being from the Big Easy, they had a New Orleans Fall wedding at the Royal Palm located in Harvey. Prior to the reception, was a traditional church wedding at Second New Guide Baptist Church in Metairie. After a heartfelt ceremony, they traveled to the Royal Palm, with family and friends in tow. It was beautifully decorated by Nola Event Planners with elegant candlelit Fall decor which set the romantic ambiance. From the first dance, to the great food, and Gerald and his Omega Psi Phi brothers serenading Giselle; it truly was a night to remember. The night concluded with the newlyweds leading the second line, along with the Zulu Tramps in the traditional NOLA way.
Congratulations to you both, Jerald & Giselle. We wish y’all a lifetime of happiness and love.
