Mark and Melanie traveled all the way from Guam to marry here in New Orleans. After only a few “weeks” of planning, they traveled across the Pacific for their New Orleans French Quarter destination wedding at the Jaxson. Family and friends made the trip from Guam and locally within the United States. They witnessed the union of Mark and Melanie along the mighty Mississippi River. It was a beautiful evening ceremony that was decorated with a backdrop of candles and flowers. Making their grand entrance inside the Jaxson, they were arm in arm and had their first official dance as husband and wife. Followed by food, laughter and live music from NOLA Dukes, the guest danced and enjoyed all The Jaxson has to offer.
The real treat for the out of town guests was the traditional second line parade, led by the newlyweds. In the NOLA way, everything came to a hault outside as bystanders participated and congratulated the newly married couple. Mark and Melanie had the support of the NOPD who escorted the parade through our historic French Quarter district. We can’t thank y’all enough for having us as a part of your big day and wish you all the best!
