Martin and Paula visited the Big Easy several times this year to plan their New Orleans Destination Wedding at Messina’s at the Terminal. We had the pleasure of sneaking in an amazing engagement session in on one of their recent visits. The most memorable visit though was on September 2, 2018 (which also happens to be our wedding anniversary). We’re honored, not only to capture their wedding, but to share the same wedding date as well. The day started out with prep at the Ritz Carlton New Orleans. With anticipation building, they opted for a “non-seen” first look to be as close as possible prior to the ceremony was important to them. It was a beautiful moment filled with smiles and emotions knowing the other was just on the other side of a door.
The ceremony was set up at Messina’s in a circular fashion around the large compass shaped flooring. With their guests from near and far in attendance, Martin and Paula exchanged vows, rings, lit the unity candle and also took communion as part of their nuptials. After the food and partying, the newlyweds second lined in the traditional New Orleans way. However, they took their wedding exit up a notch… Walking hand in hand, they headed out on the tarmac and exited via a Sesna plane that took them around our beautiful city.
We wish you all the best in life, future endeavors, and the new found friendship we’ve built… Anthony & Jodi | Capture Studio
